We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PaaS Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Cloud technologies, specifically VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service), OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), and DBCS (Database Cloud Service). The PaaS Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing PaaS solutions to meet our clients' business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business applications, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Oracle PaaS solutions based on client requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients in their cloud journey, specifically focusing on VBCS, OIC, and DBCS.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the implemented PaaS solutions.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Oracle PaaS technologies including VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service), OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), and DBCS (Database Cloud Service).
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architecture, and deployment models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in Oracle Cloud technologies are preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of other Oracle Cloud services like Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Mobile Cloud Service (MCS), etc.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of data modeling and database design.
  • Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Experience with cloud security principles and strategies.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, etc.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
