Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Kanban Lead with strong Oracle APEX expertise to lead continuous delivery initiatives while driving efficient flow-based execution across Oracle APEX application development and support teams. The role combines Lean/Kanban leadership, technical depth in Oracle APEX, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure predictable delivery and value realization.
Kanban & Delivery Leadership
•Lead and coach cross-functional teams operating in a Kanban / flow-based model
•Establish, monitor, and optimize Kanban boards, WIP limits, and flow policies
•Analyze and improve flow metrics (Lead Time, Cycle Time, Throughput, Flow Efficiency)
•Facilitate Kanban ceremonies:
oReplenishment & commitment meetings
oDaily flow reviews
oService delivery reviews
oOperations & risk review
•Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles and data-driven insights
•Ensure adherence to Kanban best practices while adapting to organizational needs
Oracle APEX Technical Responsibilities
•Act as the technical anchor for Oracle APEX application development and enhancements
•Guide teams on:
oAPEX architecture & best practices
oSQL / PL-SQL design and optimization
oIntegration patterns with Oracle DB, REST APIs, and external systems
•Review design and code for:
Classification: Internal
oMaintainability
oPerformance
oSecurity standards
•Support production issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution
•Coordinate deployments and releases in a continuous delivery model
Stakeholder & Product Collaboration
•Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Architects
•Help maintain backlog health, prioritization, and readiness
•Manage incoming work using Kanban classes of service:
oExpedite
oFixed Date
oStandard
oIntangible
•Ensure requirement traceability from intake through delivery
•Communicate delivery status, risks, and improvements transparently to stakeholders
Governance & Metrics
•Define and report delivery KPIs such as:
oLead Time
oCycle Time
oWork Item Aging
oBlocker trends
oService Level Expectations (SLEs)
•Identify and address flow bottlenecks proactively

•Enable change governance for ad-hoc or urgent work
•Support audits and compliance requirements where applicable
Required Skills & Experience
Agile / Kanban
•5+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles
•Strong hands-on experience implementing Kanban in enterprise environments
•Deep understanding of:
oLean principles
oFlow-based systems
oDemand vs capacity management
•Experience scaling Kanban across multiple teams or services is a plus
Oracle APEX / Technical
•4+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development
•Strong proficiency in:
oOracle APEX (latest versions preferred)
oSQL and PL-SQL
oOracle Database
•Experience with:
oRESTful services integration
oAuthentication & authorization
oPerformance tuning and debugging
•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Oracle APEX is preferred
