Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with UNIX command line interface.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting, VI editor, and other UNIX-based tools.
  • Solid experience in supporting both UNIX and Windows servers.
  • Competence in SQL.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes, including ERT calls for P1 incidents.
  • Willingness to work flexible shift timings, including rotational night shifts in a 24/7 environment.
  • Experience in production releases and major application enhancements.
  • Ability to handle major incidents and create impact analysis documents.
  • Strong understanding of production, non-production, and disaster recovery environments.
  • Responsible for providing L2/L3 support based on incident priority.
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to detail.

Nice to have Characteristics (Optional):

  • Experience with Dialler/IVR technologies.
  • Knowledge of IVR, application servers, Diallers, and Nuance speech technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems/tools such as Splunk, SiteScope, and NewRelic.
