Qualifications/Requirements:
- Extensive experience with UNIX command line interface.
- Proficiency in shell scripting, VI editor, and other UNIX-based tools.
- Solid experience in supporting both UNIX and Windows servers.
- Competence in SQL.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes, including ERT calls for P1 incidents.
- Willingness to work flexible shift timings, including rotational night shifts in a 24/7 environment.
- Experience in production releases and major application enhancements.
- Ability to handle major incidents and create impact analysis documents.
- Strong understanding of production, non-production, and disaster recovery environments.
- Responsible for providing L2/L3 support based on incident priority.
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to detail.
Nice to have Characteristics (Optional):
- Experience with Dialler/IVR technologies.
- Knowledge of IVR, application servers, Diallers, and Nuance speech technology.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems/tools such as Splunk, SiteScope, and NewRelic.
