Title: Technical Specialist-App Development
Role: Java Application Support
Experience: 4-6 Years
Location: Remote/Hybrid model

Job Responsibilities:
- Support Mission-critical financial applications with sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII data)
- Monitor production jobs and ensure their scheduled execution
- Create Standard Operating Procedure documents
- Triage production issues and provide solutions as per Standard Operating Procedure documents
- Document problem, solutions in the ticketing tools & knowledge base
- Communicate appropriately & effectively with business, technical teams
- Work well under pressure with a methodical approach to problem solving
- Prioritize multiple tasks and manage/assign tasks between team members
- Monitor application health, perform application/service restarts as per Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitor, edit, create scheduler jobs
- Deploy and manage applications, services on Microsoft Windows and cloud environments
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the code.
Primary skills that are must have for the candidate:
- Supporting Java/J2EE based applications involving Microservices
- Strong documentation, communication skills (written and verbal) and Analytical Skills
- Experience in any relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server; Writing queries, understanding DB processes
- Experience in frontend technologies Thyme leaf, jQuery, ReactJS.
- Experience in any of the log analyzer tool and able to troubleshoot the issues quickly.(Splunk)
- Experience in working on tickets, pulling the reports and providing the information based on SLA.
- Motivated self-starter, able to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience with product lifecycle & deployments
- Experience working in Agile project
- Time management skills.
Secondary skills that are good to have for the right candidate:
- Any of Job schedulers - Autosys or Visual Cron or Control-M or Ansible or Cron
- Any of the log analyzers – Splunk or Dynatrace or Datadog
- Any of the application performance monitoring tools like New Relic, AppDynamics or Dynatrace
- Experience in Kafka and RabbitMQ
- Cloud, Microservices, Message Queues, NoSQL, CI/CD
Work hours:
- Should be able to work with distributed teams in different time zones at onshore, offshore
- Should be working in 24x7 model with rolling shifts
- Open to supporting the team during weekends/holidays as per the needs
