Title:  Technical Specialist-App Development

Area(s) of responsibility

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop RESTful Web APIs / SOAP Web Services using .NET (C#)
• Build secure endpoints to receive XML request payloads from external systems
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms for API consumers
• Parse, validate, and process incoming XML data
• Store XML/data files securely on the server file system
• Ensure proper error handling, logging, and monitoring
• Implement API security measures (rate limiting, input validation, etc.)
• Write clear JIRA user stories, tasks, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with QA team and support testing activities (SIT/UAT)
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and support production issues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Hands-on experience building secure Web APIs or SOAP services
• Experience implementing API authentication & authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys)
• Proficiency in XML parsing (XDocument, XmlReader, serialization/deserialization)
• Experience with file handling and I/O operations in .NET
