Tools & Technologies: Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering, AWS, PCF, DevOps, Tomcat 9, Nginx Webserver, Unix OS (Linux), Splunk, New Relic, load balancers, Putty, WINSCP, Shell Scripting, and Stone Branch.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with AWS services, applications, and infrastructure, including deep dives into logs and system analysis.
- Address technical issues reported by users or detected through monitoring tools.
- Assist in deploying and configuring cloud resources (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC), ensuring proper setup and integration.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions for improved performance and cost-efficiency.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline support processes and automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for code deployment using tools like CloudFormation, Ansible, Git, Maven, SonarQube, Gradle, Nexus, Bitbucket, UDeployer, Fortify, and DevOps components, utilizing YAML and Classic Editor.
- Proficiency in pipeline scripting languages such as Groovy, Shell scripts, and Python.
- Write shell scripts and add them to Cron jobs to automate daily maintenance tasks like log rotation, report transfer, server rolling bounce, file system cleanups, and alerts.
Primary Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of migration tasks, including planning, execution, and documentation.
- Experience with cloud technologies like PCF and AWS.
- Manage and resolve incidents, escalate issues as needed, and analyze system performance data and logs to identify trends and forecast needs.
- Set up high availability environments using external hardware like F5 load balancers, Nginx web servers, HTTP session replications, and clustering of WebLogic servers and services like JDBC and JMS.
