Techno-Functional Lead Developer

 

Experience Required: 8- 10 Years in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) application development & implementations for Manufacturing industry

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and implement MES applications.
  • Integrate MES with other enterprise systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor MES system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal & offshore teams to ensure MES solutions meet business requirements

Required Skills:

  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or C# & SQL, Angular and AngularJS, Postman, Node red, Rest API) and Customize MES platform
    • Knowledge of SQL/Oracle and experience with database management systems (DBMS) like MySQL or SQL Server is important for handling the data within the MES
    • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) involved in web-based interfaces and dashboards.
    • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems will help in understanding the integration and workflow processes
    • Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) devices and automation protocols can be crucial, as integration with various hardware and sensors on the shop floor is required
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and practices is beneficial for optimizing processes and reducing waste
    • Skills in designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces to ensure that operators can easily follow digital work instructions
    • Ability to analyze data and generate reports to monitor and improve manufacturing processes
    • Familiarity with cloud services and data security

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues that may arise during the implementation and operation of the MES platform
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both local & English to collaborate with various stakeholders.
