Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Business Analyst with 7–10 years of experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, SharePoint Online/On-Premises solutions, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful design, implementation, and enhancement of SharePoint-based collaboration, document management, and workflow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), User Stories, and Use Cases.
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements to optimize business operations.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions.

SharePoint Solution Delivery

  • Lead requirement analysis for SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Premises, and Microsoft 365 initiatives.
  • Design site structures, document libraries, metadata, permissions, content types, and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with SharePoint developers, architects, and administrators throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support migration projects from legacy platforms and SharePoint On-Premises to SharePoint Online.
  • Participate in solution design reviews and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Workflow & Process Automation

  • Identify opportunities for automation using Power Automate and other Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Define approval workflows, business rules, and document management processes.
  • Work with technical teams to streamline operations through automated solutions.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement validation sessions.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely communication of project progress.

Testing & User Adoption

  • Develop test scenarios, test cases, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Coordinate defect resolution and deployment readiness activities.
  • Facilitate end-user training, user guides, and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Drive user adoption and change management initiatives.

Governance & Compliance

  • Define SharePoint governance policies and content management standards.
  • Ensure solutions comply with organizational security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish best practices for document lifecycle management and information architecture.
