Automation QA Engineer - London

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated systems to test various aspects of our software products. Your duties will include identifying areas for improvement, designing automation scripts, executing and analyzing automation test results, and working closely with the development team to ensure the highest quality of our software products. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analyzing system specifications.
• Executing test scripts and reviewing results.
• Reporting and documenting technical issues.
• Collaborate with the QA team to develop effective strategies and test plans.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or QTP.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing.
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience with API testing.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with mobile application testing.
• Understanding of cloud technologies like AWS, Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
