Oracle CPQ Consultant / Oracle CPQ Functional Resource
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Consultant with a strong background in product configuration, product lifecycle processes, and manufacturing business operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle CPQ, product data management, and ERP-driven product configuration processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Oracle CPQ solutions to support business requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate product configuration requirements into CPQ solutions.
- Support end-to-end CPQ processes including product configuration, pricing, quotation generation, and approvals.
- Collaborate with ERP teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle CPQ and enterprise applications.
- Manage and implement product change requests (PCRs) and configuration updates.
- Participate in testing, deployment, user training, and production support activities.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance product configuration and quoting efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle CPQ implementation, support, or development.
- Prior experience in Product Configuration Management (PCM), Product Data Management (PDM), or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and product configuration processes.
- Strong understanding of Product Change Request (PCR) and engineering change management processes.
- Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) processes including product configuration, pricing, quoting, and approvals.
- Knowledge of manufacturing business processes and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating Oracle CPQ with Oracle ERP, SAP, or other enterprise systems.
- Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or engineering domains.
- Knowledge of BOM, product hierarchies, variant configuration, and product master data management.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
