Job Description:
Birlasoft is looking for a dynamic and experienced Automation Lead to manage a team of automation SMEs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of automation platforms for end-user computing, such as Nanoheal and Nexthink, as well as conversational AI platforms like Moveworks, Aisera, Amelia, ServiceNow Now Assist, and Microsoft Copilot. This role requires a strong technical background and leadership skills to drive automation initiatives and enhance operational efficiency in IT service desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of automation SMEs, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for end-user computing and conversational AI platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Oversee the development and deployment of automation projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and are delivered on time.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies and incorporate them into the company's solutions.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing automation solutions to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in automation and AI technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in designing and implementing automation solutions.
- Proven experience with automation platforms for end-user computing such as Nanoheal and Nexthink.
- Knowledge on Agentic AI concepts and GenAI Co-pilots.
- Strong understanding of conversational AI platforms like Moveworks, Aisera, Amelia, ServiceNow Now Assist, and Microsoft Copilot.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in leading and managing technical teams is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing/Understanding (NLP/U) techniques.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
