ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensures that assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested, and operational
• Performs necessary checks, apply monitoring tools and respond to alerts
• Identifies problems and errors prior to or when it occurs and log all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail
• Assists in analyzing, assigning, and escalating support calls
• Investigates third line support calls assigned and identify the root cause of incidents and problems
• Reports and escalates issues to 3rd party vendors if necessary
• Provides onsite technical support to clients and provide field engineering services to clients
• Conducts a monthly random review of incidents and service requests, analyze and recommend improvement in quality
• Proactively identifies opportunities for work optimization including opportunities for automation of work
• May manage and implement projects within technology domain, delivering effectively and promptly per client agreed upon requirements and timelines
• May work on implementing and delivering Disaster Recovery functions and tests
• Installation , Troubleshooting and configuration of Windows/Linux based operating systems & Patch management.
• Good experience in Installation, configuring & troubleshooting of MS Outlook 2007/10/13/16 or Outlook Express, Office 365 , Taking Regular data & mail backup of MS outlook (PST files).
• Managing data backup and recovery.
• Configure & Troubleshooting of TCP/IP settings & connectivity problems for client computers and add them to domain. Exposure in Active Directory user creation & deletion
• AD Domain controller migration 2008 to 2019.
• Managing Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Active Directory implementation and Administration.
• Active Directory Backup and Restoration.
• Experienced in DCPROMO process and configuring OU structure, Global Catalog server, directory services.
• DNS administrations and troubleshooting skill
• Working on Active Directory replication, GPOs and FSMO roles.
• Creating new group policies as per the Customer request,
• User Management including Adding, Deleting, Modifying, Assigning Rights to the User accounts.
• NTFS security, disk quota management.
• ADFS administration and management
• DFS management and troubleshooting skill
• Provide systematic RCA and problem management for P1 and reoccurring issues
• PowerShell knowledge at intermediate/advance level
• PS Automation skill and any hands-on experience on real time project.
• ADFS knowledge
• Develop and maintain scripted and automated tools for management of the Windows physical and virtual environments.
• The ability to perform deep dive analysis of issues and be able to quickly resolve complex problems.
• Experience defining and executing Disaster Recovery and Business Contingency Plans.
• Must be independent, organized, self-motivated, responsible, and able to complete tasks with little or no supervision.
• Knows ITIL concepts and can apply them effectively.
