Title: Associate Director-Business Consulting
Key Responsibilities
1. Presales and Opportunity Solutioning
• Lead technical solutioning for Cloud and Infrastructure Services opportunities across RFIs, RFPs, proactive pursuits, renewals, expansions and transformation programs.
• Analyze customer business goals, technical requirements, existing infrastructure landscape, service levels, operations challenges and contractual requirements.
• Develop compelling solution strategies, win themes, transformation hypotheses, value propositions and solution differentiators.
• Own the technical response from initial opportunity qualification through proposal submission, customer presentation and SOW preparation.
2. Cloud Transformation Solutioning
• Architect solutions across public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
• Design cloud landing zones covering account or subscription structure, identity, network connectivity, security, governance, monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery and cost management.
• Develop cloud adoption, migration, consolidation and modernization roadmaps.
• Develop migration factories, wave plans, effort models, migration schedules, cutover approaches, testing strategies and hypercare models.
• Use native AWS and Azure pricing tools to create infrastructure configurations, consumption estimates and commercial inputs.
3. Data Center and Hybrid Infrastructure Solutioning
• Design transformation and managed services solutions for enterprise data center and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Design data center migration, consolidation, exit and cloud-adoption solutions.
• Incorporate high availability, DR, backup, security, performance and regulatory requirements into the solution architecture.
4. Managed Services Solutioning
• Design end-to-end managed services solutions for cloud, data center and hybrid infrastructure operations.
• Define service delivery models covering shared, dedicated, offshore, nearshore and onsite constructs.
• Design automation-led operating models using AIOps, event correlation, orchestration, self-healing, infrastructure as code and automated remediation.
• Develop productivity and optimization roadmaps with clearly defined and supportable benefits.
5. Commercial and Deal Support
• Work with finance and commercial teams to develop competitive and financially viable pricing models.
• Build bottom-up effort estimates for transformation projects and managed services.
• Support deal-shaping decisions including scope optimization, delivery location, resource mix, automation benefits and risk provisions.
• Identify solution and commercial risks and recommend appropriate mitigations.
• Participate in internal deal reviews, governance checkpoints and approval processes.

Experience Requirements
• Minimum 15 years of overall experience in IT infra, cloud and related services.
• Strong experience in Cloud & Infra Services presales and solution architecture.
• Demonstrable experience designing both:
o Transformation solutions, such as cloud adoption, migrations, modernization, data center exits, consolidation and technology refresh.
o Managed services solutions, including operating models, staffing, transition, SLAs, automation and service improvement.
• Strong experience with Azure, AWS, hybrid cloud & enterprise DC technologies.
• Proven ability to independently build technical solutions, architectures, bills of material, resource-loading models and pricing inputs.
• Experience working with globally distributed sales, delivery, practice, finance, commercial and partner teams.
• Prior infrastructure implementation or operations experience is desirable
Educational Qualifications
• BE in Comp Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Preferred Certifications
One or more of the following would be desirable:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware certification, ITIL certification
