Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure + Terraform Engineer with deep expertise in infrastructure automation and cloud platform engineering. This role focuses on managing Azure infrastructure exclusively through Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, with no manual resource creation permitted.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring zero manual intervention.
  • Manage Azure resources including:
  1. Virtual Machines (Windows & Linux)
  2. Resource Groups
  3. Azure Networking
  4. Azure Firewall
  5. Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD Windows 10/11)
  6. Host pool creation, deletion, and lifecycle management
  • Implement and manage Azure Application Gateway (added advantage).
  • Handle SSL certificate renewal for Azure Application Gateway using Terraform.
  • Work closely with Application, Database, and Infrastructure teams to gather requirements and deploy infrastructure using Terraform code.
  • Build, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
  • Use Azure DevOps for Terraform pipeline execution; familiarity with GitLab is an added advantage.
  • Ensure infrastructure is version‑controlled, auditable, and compliant using Git + Terraform.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Azure and Terraform‑related issues.
  • Interact with customers and Microsoft support for Azure‑related incidents and escalations.

 Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform for Azure infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of Azure architecture and services.
  • Proven experience managing infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid knowledge of Git‑based workflows for infrastructure management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with customers, Microsoft, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across APP / DB / Infra teams.
