Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to conduct site surveys, assess rack requirements, mount access points, and manage the installation and pre-configuration of network devices, including Meraki routers, switches, and access points. The Network Engineer will also oversee the production cutover to ensure a seamless transition.
 
Key Responsibilities:
1.    Network Technology Management- Routing , switching. Network Policy management, Network security policy management. Experience in Pala Alto, CISCO ASA, Checkpoint Firewall management, CISCO network Infrastructure Management.
2.    Site Survey and Assessment:
o    Conduct comprehensive site surveys to evaluate current network infrastructure.
o    Assess rack space, power requirements, and environmental conditions for network device installation.

3.    Rack and Device Installation:
o    Determine and document rack requirements for network devices.
o    Mount access points and network devices in racks according to best practices.
o    Ensure proper cabling and power connections for all devices.
4.    Pre-Configuration and Setup:
o    Pre-configure Meraki routers, switches, and access points based on network design specifications.
o    Test and validate device configurations to ensure optimal performance and security.
5.    Production Cutover:
o    Plan and execute the production cutover process, minimizing downtime and disruption.
o    Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to the new network infrastructure.
o    Monitor network performance post-cutover and address any issues promptly.
6.    Documentation and Reporting:
o    Maintain detailed documentation of site surveys, configurations, and installation processes.
o    Provide regular updates and reports to project managers and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    Proven experience with network device installation, configuration, and management.
•    Expertise in Meraki routers, switches, and access points.
•    Strong understanding of network protocols, security, and best practices.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 
Preferred Certifications:
•    Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
•    Meraki Solutions Specialist
•    CompTIA Network+
