Job Title: Business Analyst (Pre-Sales, P&C Insurance)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst in Property and Casualty Insurance domain with a strong background in pre-sales. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of insurance processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders to drive business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to understand their business needs, pain points, and objectives. Translate these requirements into clear and concise business requirements, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation. Propose innovative solutions that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide pre-sales support, including preparing proposals, presentations, and demonstrations of insurance solutions to potential clients.
- Solution Design: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end insurance solutions that address business challenges identified during the analysis phase. Document solution workflows and integration requirements.
- Data Analysis: Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to assess the availability, quality, and relevance of data required for solution development. Ensure data readiness for model training and implementation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for communication between the project team and stakeholders. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather feedback and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA analysts to define test scenarios, validate solutions, and ensure that deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry, with a focus on P&C insurance.
- Proven experience in pre-sales activities, including proposal preparation, presentations, and client demonstrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with data modeling techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with insurance software solutions and platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the insurance industry.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or related fields.
