About the Role

We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Tester with 3–5 years of experience to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our Oracle NetSuite ERP implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP testing methodologies, business process validation (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report), integrations, and best practices. You will work closely with functional consultants, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to validate requirements, test configurations/customizations, and enable smooth releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test scenarios and test cases for NetSuite modules and customizations (SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, SuiteBuilder).
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across core processes (O2C, P2P, R2R, Inventory, Billing, CRM).
  • Identify, document, and track defects, test evidence, and re-test results using tools such as JIRA/Azure DevOps and test management solutions.
  • Collaborate with NetSuite functional and technical teams to clarify requirements, validate fixes, and support UAT sign-off.
  • Test integrations and data flows between NetSuite and external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, SuiteTalk, middleware), including error handling and reconciliation.
  • Validate NetSuite configurations such as roles/permissions, workflows, forms/fields, saved searches, approval rules, tax, and accounting preferences.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC, change control, audit readiness, and data/security controls (e.g., role-based access, segregation of duties).
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies; plan testing for sprints/releases, estimate effort, and provide quality metrics and status updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in NetSuite testing or ERP application testing (NetSuite preferred).
  • Strong hands-on experience with manual testing, test design techniques, and creating traceability to business requirements.
  • Good understanding of NetSuite modules and core business processes (Financials, Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, Billing).
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA/Azure DevOps, TestRail/Zephyr) and basic SQL for data validation.
  • Understanding of integration and API testing concepts (REST/SOAP, SuiteTalk), including file-based integrations (CSV/SFTP) where applicable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • ISTQB Certification or NetSuite/ERP-related certification (preferred).

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to test automation for web/ERP apps and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Selenium/Playwright, Jenkins/Azure Pipelines).
  • Basic knowledge of SuiteScript, SuiteCloud development, and debugging logs to support technical testing.
  • Experience testing other ERPs/finance systems and familiarity with SOX/audit controls is a plus.
