Role Overview
The Salesforce Delivery Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of Salesforce programs and projects, ensuring successful execution across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role acts as the primary interface between business stakeholders, clients, and delivery teams, driving predictable outcomes while scaling Salesforce capabilities and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Program Management
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and support engagements across clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, CPQ, etc.)
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with defined scope and quality standards
- Manage multiple concurrent Salesforce programs and teams
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and senior stakeholders
- Build trusted advisor relationships with business, IT leadership, and Salesforce product owners
- Manage expectations, risks, escalations, and communication proactively
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor Salesforce project managers, architects, developers, QA, and analysts
- Drive team performance, capacity planning, utilization, and skill development
- Foster a high‑performance, collaborative, and accountable delivery culture
Governance & Risk Management
- Establish and enforce delivery governance, project controls, and reporting mechanisms
- Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation plans
- Ensure compliance with organizational, security, and Salesforce best practices
Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage project financials including budgets, forecasts, margins, and billing
- Support change requests, scope management, and commercial negotiations
- Contribute to account growth through upsell and cross‑sell opportunities
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Implement Agile / SAFe / Hybrid delivery models as appropriate
- Drive standardization, reuse, and continuous improvement across Salesforce delivery
- Leverage Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices
