Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This is a senior role that requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a background in business skills, management, budgeting, and analysis, with excellent communication and leadership skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
• Plan and define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, track project milestones and deliverables.
Required Skills
• Project Management: The candidate must have a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. They should be able to plan, execute, and oversee the completion of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Scrum: The candidate must have a deep understanding of Scrum methodologies and be able to implement them effectively in the project management process.
• Communication: The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They should be able to effectively communicate project goals, updates, and issues to team members and stakeholders.
• The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Preferred Skills
• Risk Management: Ability to identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
• Budgeting: Experience in budget planning and cost estimation.
• Quality Assurance: Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders effectively.
• Resource Management: Experience in managing resources effectively.
• Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of other Agile methodologies like Kanban, Lean, etc.
• Conflict Resolution: Ability to resolve conflicts within the team effectively.
• Time Management: Strong time management skills.
• Negotiation: Ability to negotiate with stakeholders and team members.
• Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of the technology being used in the project.
