Infrastructure Cloud Architect AWS

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

Has the ability to gather application functionality and non-functional requirements understand them and convert them into the overall IT infrastructure designs and implementation solutions for client's Business services. The customer has a DC transformation objective, for which he wants to get his environment analyzed, rightly sized for the future, designed, and implemented on the public cloud. Post-implementation migration of Virtual and physical infra from the as-is environment to newly built infrastructure on public cloud AWS (Azure will be an added advantage)

• 12+ years of Hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Build projects, Cloud migration/ Transformation, Active Directory migration
• Ability to understand business requirements and transform them into a robust and efficient solution at optimized efforts and within budgeted costs.
• Craft the Infrastructure migration strategies, principles, and high-level & Low-level design documents for the public cloud.
• Excellent command of Landing Zone creation following AWS CAF perspective,
• Experience FinOps assessment.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience with IaC , automation & DevOps tools ( Terraform, ansible )
• Hands-on experience in shell scripting.
• Good experience in Hybrid Cloud setup and network integrations
• Design Cloud-based DR solutions and deploy them.
• Good experience in Hybrid cloud setup, networking & security
• Good experience in integration of SaaS offerings (especially in Infra domain, IAM, Azure AD etc.) and PaaS services from AWS
• Design Cloud-based DR solutions and deploy them.
• Good experience in Hybrid cloud setup, networking & security
• Excellent understanding of AWS/Azure cloud services
• Evaluate and recommend infrastructure solutions to best meet the seamless migration need of the business services.
• Assure that the most appropriate IT practices measures are in place.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with virtualization technologies like
  • VMware Infrastructure 4.x/5.x/6.x, VMware Licensing
  • Hyper-V 2008R2/2012R2, System Center Virtual Machine Manager, Microsoft Licensing
  • Azure/AWS cloud services for Network, security, computing, storage & Disaster Recovery
  • Migration tools and data replication tools
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies like
  • Windows 2008 to 2022 and Licensing
  • Active Directory Services
  • Failover Clustering Services
• Technical knowledge of AD/LDAP/NTP/SMTP services with upgradation, Migration 

Communication & Soft Skills

• Excellent communication verbal + documentation
