Title: Sr Engineer-Testing Services
Description:
Area(s) of responsibility
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications to identify test requirements and prepare test cases/scripts.
- Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data, data validation, and automated scripts.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to develop effective test plans.
- Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Create logs to document various testing phases (functional, end-to-end, and regression) and defects.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Estimate upcoming work, plan resources according to priorities, and meet timelines with the best quality output.
- Conduct in-depth analysis on any QA/UAT/Production issues, report with appropriate details, retest once addressed, and track them to closure.
- Coordinate with Business Analysis, Development, and Management teams for all clarifications and follow-up to completion.
Technical Qualifications:
- 7+ years in the IT field with 5+ years within Guidewire Claims Center Integration/Configuration Testing role.
- Prior experience in Guidewire Claims Center delivering at least 2 end-to-end Claims product implementations within Commercial Insurance space.
- Hands-on Claims Center QA experience with a minimum of 6+ years within Claim Center and various internal, external integrated systems.
- Experience with SOAPUI testing and a proficient understanding of XMLs.
- Experience testing with Mainframe and SAP systems.
- Experience with any test management tools such as MTM, VSTS, Rally, JIRA.
- High proficiency in writing SQL and validating data from the database.
- Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies.
- Data validation experience with product migrations/conversion.
- Prior experience with any AI projects or AI tools is considered a plus.

- Possess excellent analytical skills.
- Experience in P&C insurance is required (Commercial Insurance is preferred).
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience.
