· Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
· 8+ years of experience in a hands-on technical/development role.
· Data Cloud Expertise: Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP), data integration, data modeling, and data management practices, DLO, DMO, Calculated Insights, Activations
· Marketing Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, SQL, and AMPscript.
· Good experience in Sales and Service Clouds
· Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirement, analysis, design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support.
· Experience in source control tool like Git
· Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
· Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
· Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in developing and customizing solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, Salesforce Data Cloud certifications, or other relevant Salesforce certifications.
Job Responsibilities
· Data Cloud Solutions: Develop and manage data integration, data modeling, and data pipelines using Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly known as Salesforce CDP).
· Customization: Customize Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud components, including AMPscript, SQL queries, and API integrations to meet business needs.
· Integration: Integrate Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud with other Salesforce modules and third-party systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
· Direct involvement and/or oversight of developing business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration and testing.
· Work on new development initiatives, as well as bug fixes and enhancements of the existing SFDC solutions.
· Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into marketing performance and data trends.
· Testing and Optimization: Conduct thorough testing of Marketing Cloud campaigns and Data Cloud processes; optimize solutions for performance and scalability.
· Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
· Release and Environment Management including sandbox usage planning, metadata and data migration, environment comparisons and version control.
· Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, process flows, and user guides.
· Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud solutions, addressing issues and implementing improvements as needed.
