Job Title: IoT Architect

Experience: 8–12 years (with strong IoT project delivery experience)


Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IoT Architect to design, build, and deliver scalable end-to-end IoT solutions. The role requires strong hands-on experience across IoT protocols, machine integration, edge devices, connectivity, Azure cloud services, and DevOps pipelines. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and proven experience in customer-facing IoT project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own end-to-end IoT solution architecture from device to cloud
  • Design scalable architectures for:
    • Device connectivity
    • Edge computing
    • Data ingestion, processing, and visualization
  • Lead machine and equipment integration across industrial environments
  • Select and implement appropriate IoT protocols and communication mechanisms
  • Architect and implement IoT edge solutions using gateways and edge devices
  • Design secure, reliable, and high-availability IoT platforms on Microsoft Azure
  • Drive DevOps practices for IoT solutions including CI/CD automation
  • Work closely with:
    • Customers
    • Delivery teams
    • Cloud, security, and infrastructure teams
  • Provide technical leadership during:
    • Solution design
    • POCs
    • Project execution
    • Production rollouts
  • Support pre-sales activities, technical proposals, and architecture reviews
  • Ensure adherence to security, scalability, and performance best practices

Technical Skills – Must Have

IoT & Connectivity

  • Strong understanding of IoT communication protocols:
    • MQTT
    • OPC UA
    • Modbus
    • HTTP/REST
    • AMQP
  • Experience with industrial machine integration (PLCs, sensors, SCADA, historians)
  • Knowledge of industrial networking (Ethernet, fieldbus, gateways)
