Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in large-scale RHEL environments (thousands of servers), such as high CPU utilization, disk I/O bottlenecks, and network performance problems.
- Implement kernel parameter adjustments, CPU isolation, and other tuning techniques to enhance system stability, security, and performance.
- Manage Linux OS patching and upgrades using tools like Ansible and Red Hat Satellite to ensure system reliability and security.
- Design, implement, and support high-availability solutions using clustering tools like Pacemaker and PCS.
- Harden Linux operating systems, manage user accounts and permissions, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Monitor system performance, conduct SLA analysis, and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux servers.
- Package Administration using RPM, YUM.
- User management, Creation, Deletion, managing user privileges.
- Managing partitions and file systems. Creating logical volumes using LVM.
- Securing and managing network with firewall & IP tables (basic)
- Validated knowledge in handling day-to-day LINUX operating system installation, migration and break-fix support

- Managing Samba, ssh services.
