Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Analyst at the junior to mid-career level to support project teams through effective reporting, analysis, and communication. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with Power BI, Azure DevOps, and testing reports, and who excels at translating data into clear, meaningful insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as the role works closely with project managers, developers, QA teams, and leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain project dashboards and reports using Power BI to track progress, milestones, risks, and key performance indicators.
  • Extract and analyze project data from Azure DevOps (work items, sprints, backlogs, and test plans).
  • Prepare testing and quality reports, including test execution status, defect trends, and release readiness.
  • Support project managers with status reports, meeting materials, and stakeholder updates.
  • Monitor project health indicators such as scope, timeline, budget, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, up to date, and clearly communicated to stakeholders.
  • Participate in project meetings and help translate technical information into easy-to-understand summaries.
  • Continuously improve reporting templates, dashboards, and PMO processes.
  • Document processes, metrics definitions, and reporting standards.
  • Prepare executive-level summaries and presentations for leadership review.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives within the PMO by identifying gaps and recommending data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PMs, developers, QA, and stakeholders) to define reporting requirements and improve reporting processes.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–4 years of experience in a Project Management Analyst, PMO, Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (building reports, basic data modeling, and visualizations).
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for project tracking and reporting.
  • Basic understanding of testing and QA metrics and how they support project delivery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
