Role & responsibilities:
- CSR program Management

- Evaluate CSR initiatives against industry standards; analyze results and develop action plans to ensure Birlasoft has a best in class CSR program
- Assist in the development and recommendation of the CSR budget
- Ensuring a company has a positive impact on local communities and the environment
- Monitor, Develop, analyze and evaluate the impact, resource requirements and cost/benefit of new programs
- Meeting annual CSR compliance and reporting stakeholders on regular basis
- Conducting research into best practice
- Alignment of social and economic responsibilities
- Developing policies relating to a company’s ethical, sustainable and environmental responsibilities
- Ensuring that a company’s CSR policy meet legal and commercial needs
- Stakeholder management
- Raising public awareness of a company’s social responsibility commitments in partnership with marketing team
- Creating partnerships with clients, employees, suppliers, charities, and other groups
- Encouraging links between the company and charitable groups
- Reporting on social responsibility activity to senior manager, CXO’s and Board
- Partner with internal departments to enhance and expand programs, metrics, and communications.
- Manage volunteers, community partners and interns when applicable. Manage external vendors as necessary
- Communication
- Ensuring overall messaging consistency across business units and throughout corporate communications
- Write and edit materials, and promote the CSR program and activities via the company intranet, corporate website, and our digital channels.
- Actively contribute to communicating employer brand messages on CSR .
- Develop strategies and materials for the communication of CSR initiatives to all internal and external audiences
- Volunteer Engagement - Plan, promote and organize events to engage employees and raise awareness of CSR programs
- Managing external factors - Identify and cultivate relationships with global company peers engaged in companywide CSR initiatives
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
