SAP OTC Onsite Lead JD

  • Lead the technical design and development of custom SAP solutions using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData services, and Fiori/UI5.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, business users, and architects to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Oversee code development, performance optimization, debugging, and issue resolution.
  • Manage and guide the development team through all phases of the SDLC (design, development, testing, deployment).
  • Ensure alignment of custom developments with SAP best practices and standards.
  • Support integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems via interfaces (IDOCs, RFCs, APIs).
  • Perform code reviews and conduct technical training or knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Stay current with SAP innovations, particularly in the S/4HANA and Fiori landscape.
  • Partner with development (RICEFW) team members to ensure technical design and delivery align to functional specifications and adhere to needed quality
  • Share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the respective process area
  • Provide regular and accurate status updates and other documentation to management for assigned project, support, and enhancement work.
  • Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
  • Solid hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP Gateway, and Fiori Elements.
  • Deep understanding of SAP modules (such as MM, SD, FI, PP) from a technical perspective.
  • Experience with debugging and optimizing ABAP code and database performance.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to lead technical teams and interface with stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in SAP environments is an advantage.
