Job Summary:
Role's responsibilities in leading and guiding the technical aspects of ITOM implementations and support, focusing on areas like discovery, service mapping, configuration management, and event management. The technical lead will be responsible for guiding the development and maintenance of ITOM solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and adhere to industry best practices.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
•    Technical Leadership:
•    Guide the development and maintenance of ITOM solutions, including CMDB, discovery, event management, and cloud management. 
•    Collaborate with the team to design and implement ITOM processes and tools. 
•    Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices and organizational goals. 
•    Provide technical guidance to team members on ITOM-related issues and solutions. 
•    Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improvement. 
•    ITOM Implementation and Configuration:
•    Install, configure, and integrate ITOM products, potentially including ServiceNow. 
•    Develop custom solutions and integrations through scripting and software development. 
•    Manage ITOM infrastructure, including monitoring and optimization. 
•    Problem Solving and Resolution:
•    Analyze and resolve technical issues related to ITOM solutions and processes. 
•    Provide proactive support and maintenance to ensure system stability and performance. 
•    Develop and implement solutions for recurring problems. 
•    Collaboration and Communication:
•    Communicate technical details and progress to stakeholders, both within and outside the IT department. 
•    Work closely with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of ITOM solutions. 
•    Mentor and train team members on ITOM technologies and best practices. 
Skills and Qualifications:
•    Strong technical expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM).
•    Experience with ITOM tools and platforms, such as ServiceNow.
•    Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
•    Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
•    Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
•    Leadership and mentoring experience.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Experience with scripting, software development, and integrations.
•    Understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications. 
Experience:
•    Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in IT Operations Management or a related role. 
•    Experience with specific ITOM tools and platforms, such as ServiceNow, is highly desirable.
