OTM – Functional Lead Consultant

Job Overview

As an OTM – Functional Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their business processes and requirements, translate these into system configurations, and ensure the successful deployment of OTM solutions. Your role will involve project management, problem-solving, and technical expertise, requiring a deep understanding of OTM functionalities and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and upgrade of OTM software.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of OTM.
  • Monitor project progress, address any issues that arise, and ensure the project is on track and within budget.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) software.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain logistics and transportation management.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant Oracle certifications will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of SQL and other database technologies.
  • Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions.
  • Understanding of business process re-engineering.
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding and third-party logistics.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of other Oracle applications like Oracle SCM, Oracle Finance.
