1. Engagement Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to support our Finc Power-cell. This Power-cell manages 10+ enterprise applications.
The Scrum Master will manage multiple cross-functional Agile teams, facilitating delivery of high-value business outcomes through modern Agile practices within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
2. Key Responsibilities
Sprint & Delivery Execution
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) for teams running bi-weekly sprints
Support Product Manager in backlog refinement, release planning, and prioritization aligned to quarterly OKRs and Goal Tree objectives
Maintain and enforce the Definition of Done, ensuring compliance with documentation, architecture, governance, and compliance standards
Track and report sprint velocity, burndown, story point completion rate, and cycle time to maintain delivery predictability
Impediment Removal & Dependency Management
Surface delivery risks and cross-team blockers to support portfolio-level prioritization decisions
3. Required Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise IT / software delivery environments
Demonstrated experience coaching 2–3 concurrent Agile teams in Scrum and/or Kanban
Strong working knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) — PI Planning, ART-level coordination, cross-team dependency management
Proficiency with Jira (including Jira Plans / Advanced Roadmaps) and Confluence
Understanding of software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing cross-functional dependencies in a multi-application portfolio environment
Ability to work onsite in Columbus, IN at least 3 days per week
4. Preferred Qualifications
Active Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM II), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification
Advanced certifications: A-CSM, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), or SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or quality IT domains
Familiarity with OKR frameworks and value-driven delivery metrics (cycle time, lead time, throughput)
Experience with Power BI dashboards, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint collaboration
Prior experience working in product-centric or Power-cell operating models
5. Expected Deliverables
Facilitate all sprint ceremonies and maintain ceremony cadence across assigned teams
Maintain updated Jira boards, sprint reports, and epic-level tracking dashboards
Deliver bi-weekly sprint review summaries to Product Manager
Provide monthly delivery health reports (velocity, defect trends, blocker aging, OKR progress)
Drive ≥80% retrospective action item closure within 2 sprints
Support PI Planning preparation and execution each quarter
Maintain cross-team dependency tracker and escalation log with clear ownership
