Job Overview

As an SRE Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Site Reliability Engineers to ensure the highest level of system and infrastructure availability. You will be tasked with developing and implementing strategies for service scalability, reliability, and efficiency. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving system issues, managing incident responses, and working closely with cross-functional teams to improve the overall system performance. You will also be expected to mentor and guide your team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SRE team and oversee all system operations to ensure high performance and availability.
• Collaborate with the development team to implement and improve the CI/CD process.
• Develop and maintain software using Java and other programming languages.
• Provide consulting services to understand the needs of the organization and provide appropriate solutions.

Required Skills

• Consulting: The candidate must have strong consulting skills to understand and analyze the needs of the organization and provide appropriate solutions.
• Jenkins: Proficiency in Jenkins is required for continuous integration and continuous delivery in the software development process.
• Java: The candidate must have strong programming skills in Java, as it is essential for developing and maintaining the software.
• The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications would be considered a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Bash: Knowledge of Bash scripting can be beneficial for automating tasks and managing system files.
• Terraform: Familiarity with Terraform can be useful for infrastructure as code and provides a consistent approach to provision any infrastructure.
• Azure DevOps: Experience with Azure DevOps can be beneficial for planning, developing, testing, and delivering software.
• Python: Knowledge of Python programming can be useful for scripting and automation tasks.
• PowerShell: Familiarity with PowerShell can be beneficial for task automation and configuration management.
• AWS-DevOps: Experience with AWS-DevOps can be useful for operating, managing, and delivering software on AWS.
• Kubernetes: Knowledge of Kubernetes can be beneficial for container orchestration.
• Docker: Familiarity with Docker can be useful for creating, deploying, and running applications.
• Ansible: Experience with Ansible can be beneficial for software provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
• Git: Knowledge of Git can be useful for version control system to track changes in source code during software development.
