Title:  BY WMS Principal Consultant

Summary:

Experienced BY WMS Subject Matter Expert who will help to provide deep technical and functional expertise in the design, implementation, and optimization of BY WMS solutions. The SME will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and provide guidance on best practices, process improvements, and the alignment of WMS solutions with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead and support the design, configuration, and implementation of BY WMS solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business goals.
• Solution Design: Translate business needs into functional and technical WMS solutions by leveraging extensive knowledge of BY WMS.
• Functional Expertise: Provide expert-level knowledge on BY WMS modules, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, and reporting functionalities.
• Customization and Integration: Oversee WMS customizations, system integrations, and enhancements based on client needs, working with development teams as needed.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for optimizing warehouse processes through best practices and BY WMS functionalities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, supply chain, procurement, and logistics, to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Training and Support: Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to end users and team members on BY WMS functionalities and system enhancements.
• Issue Resolution: Act as the escalation point for any WMS-related issues, troubleshooting complex system problems and ensuring timely resolution.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of WMS configurations, customizations, and business process flows.
• Reporting: Generate and analyse WMS reports to provide insights on system performance and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in WMS implementation, with at least 5+ years of hands-on expertise with BY WMS.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge of BY WMS architecture, configuration, and integration with ERP and other third-party systems.
• Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of warehouse management processes, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping.
• Project Management: Proven experience managing large-scale WMS projects, from planning and design to execution and support.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex WMS issues.
