Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Lead – Fixed Assets (FA)

Experience:
- Total experience: 12–15 years
- Relevant Oracle Financials experience: 10+ years
- Minimum 2+ end-to-end implementations
- Mandatory hands-on implementation experience in Oracle Fixed Assets
Role Summary:
Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fixed Assets with strong integration across AR, AP, GL, and Cash Management. Ensure compliance with global depreciation and statutory accounting requirements.
Scope:
Primary: Fixed Assets (FA)
Supporting: AR, AP, GL, CM
Themes: Multi-GAAP, depreciation compliance, multi-currency, audit readiness
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation lifecycle (Fit-Gap, Design, Config, Testing, Go-Live)
- Conduct workshops and drive stakeholder alignment
- Configure FA modules and manage integrations with financial modules
Fixed Assets Expertise:
- Configure asset books, categories, capitalization, transfers
- Implement depreciation methods (SLM, WDV, units-based)
- Manage multi-book accounting (Corporate, Tax, IFRS)
Global Compliance:
- Ensure IFRS / US GAAP / Local GAAP compliance
- Handle statutory and tax-based depreciation
- Manage impairment and revaluation scenarios
Financial Integration:
- AP to FA capitalization
- FA to GL posting via SLA
- Ensure reconciliation across financial modules
Data Migration & Conversion (FA & GL – Mandatory Focus):
Fixed Assets:
- Migrate asset master, cost, accumulated depreciation, multi-book data
- Ensure continuity of depreciation and statutory compliance
- Validate asset register reconciliation
General Ledger:
- Migrate COA, opening balances, historical balances
- Setup ledger, calendars, legal entities
- Reconcile GL with subledgers
Tools & Controls:
- Use FBDI / ADFDI
- Data cleansing, validation, reconciliation cycles
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong Oracle FA implementation experience
- Knowledge of depreciation and compliance
- Experience with AR, AP, GL, CM integrations
- SLA, Data migration tools
Good to Have:
- Oracle certification
- Lease Accounting exposure
- Reporting tools (OTBI, BI)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance / Commerce / Engineering)
- CA / CMA / MBA preferred
