Title: Consultant Specialist
• Software installation (primarily in a Windows environments), user setup, company setup, VRC creation, package creation and maintenance, performance tuning of the LN application (including disk layouts). In addition, this position will perform high level monitoring of the Infor Environment at the Windows OS level. • Core Infor ERP LN Admin knowledge with good troubleshooting skills • System maintenance and uptime related tasks (patching, testing) • Proactive monitoring (jobs/logs/interfaces, etc.) • Job setup, monitoring and corrective actions • Knowledge of company creation and company data refreshing • Audit management – set up audit trail • PMC/Patch deployment • Software configuration management • Knowledge of ODM / IDM • Knowledge of LNUI / Mingle from administrative purposes • Knowledge of procedure for certificate renewals for LNUI/Mingle/Infor OS • SLM administration • Working knowledge of the Windows server operating system and SQL databases • Thorough understanding of BSE / File structure
Basic knowledge of ION and workflow setups • Documents and updates current database operating procedures • Works to improve the systems and processes currently in place by researching and analyzing the current environment and put forth recommendations and products to improve the overall environment • Provides technical and functional consultation, documentation and support to staff
Roles & Responsibilities
• Candidates with other Infor platform System Administration experience may also be considered • Clear and complete knowledge on tools and porting set binaries • Very strong technical ability, strong judgment and problem analysis techniques • Good knowledge of roles and responsibilities within LN including AMS and DEM • Strong interpersonal skills and must be able to lead and work successfully on a team • Positive attitude, ability to work in a team and ability to multi-task in a fastpaced environment with minimal supervision • Ability to solve complex systems problems quickly with little technical guidance, and develop corrective measures • Infor LN technical expertise in system administration and support Technical Skills • Clear and complete knowledge on Baan IV and V, Infor LN 10.3/10.4/10.5 Tools and Porting set binaries. • Hands on knowledge on Infor Extensibility
• Desired Technical skills
o LN Tools a plus o Mongoose o Familiar with: ▪ SQLs ▪ APIs ▪ Open Application Group Integration Specifications (OAGIS) – XML standards ▪ HTMLs ▪ WebServices, Alerts & Workflows • Knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR) set-up and invocation will be an added advantage.
