iSeries Admin + Robot Scheduler details
The IBM iSeries Systems Administrator III is a member of the Enterprise Platforms operations
and infrastructure group contributing to the administrative,
technical and troubleshooting engineering support for the Company's IBM Server infrastructure.
1. Candidate must have hands on experience on all Robot Functionality along with IBMi knowledge.
2. Robot Job Schedular/Robot Network/Robot Console
3. Scheduling Jobs in ROBOT Scheduler for Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly
4. Maintaining the Calendar, Date Objects, Generating reports in ROBOT Scheduler
5. OPAL/Calendar creation/ Robot Reports
6. Robot GUI/Agent jobs
7. New jobs creation & scheduled in Robot.
8. Application Security, System security, including user profiles, group profiles and objects authority maintenance.
9. Application migration and testing to different LPARs
10· Environment refresh and Cleanup
11· Purging activities, Reorganization of large files
12· IBM i Jobs management. working and troubleshooting with applications jobs
13.WebSphere installation and tuning
14Journal management, starting, stopping journaling
15.Experience in BRMS/ MIMIX Replication
16.Hands on experience on CL Programming.
