Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infor M3 Technical Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Infor M3 ERP systems. This role involves working closely with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, developing technical specifications, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Infor M3, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure MEC, ION, and MAK within the Infor M3 system.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Infor M3 applications.
  • Customize and extend M3 applications using MAK.
  • Collaborate with other team members to integrate Infor and non-Infor applications using MEC and ION.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in MEC (M3 Enterprise Collaborator) for integrating Infor and non-Infor applications.
  • Expertise in ION (Intelligent Open Network) for connecting Infor and third-party software.
  • Mastery in MAK (M3 Adaptation Kit) for customizing and extending M3 applications.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of IDM (Infor Document Management) for managing documents within the Infor M3 system.
  • Sales acumen, with an understanding of how to leverage Infor M3 to drive sales processes.
  • Familiarity with BIRST, a business intelligence and reporting tool.
  • Experience with Mongoose, a framework for designing and deploying Infor M3 applications.
  • Understanding of Manufacturing processes and how they can be managed with Infor M3.
  • Knowledge of SCM (Supply Chain Management) and how to optimize it using Infor M3.
  • Experience with SQL and database management.
  • Familiarity with Java and other programming languages.
  • Understanding of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
