5.    Key Responsibilities –

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Governance
•    Lead end-to-end project management for the JDE upgrade, covering planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
•    Drive project planning sessions, including scope definition, milestones, timelines, resource planning, and risk management.
•    Establish and maintain project governance, reporting structures, and escalation mechanisms.
Team Management & Mentoring
•    Manage, guide, and mentor cross-functional teams including JDE Technical, Functional, CNC, Testing, and Integration teams.
•    Ensure effective team coordination, workload balancing, and productivity across onsite and offshore resources.
•    Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Planning, Execution & Control
•    Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with upgrade methodology and client expectations.
•    Track project progress, proactively identify risks and issues, and adapt plans as required.
•    Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and agreed scope.
Stakeholder & Client Management
•    Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, sponsors, and leadership teams.
•    Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies through regular status reports and governance forums.
Delivery & Deadline Management
•    Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope.
•    Drive milestone-based delivery including testing phases, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support.
•    Ensure adherence to agreed SLAs, KPIs, and acceptance criteria.
Contract & Commercial Management
•    Support designing, reviewing, and signing off on contracts, SoWs, and change requests.
•    Manage scope changes and ensure proper impact assessment, approvals, and documentation.
•    Ensure commercial compliance and alignment with contractual commitments.

Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
•    Strong expertise in Project Management with experience managing large-scale ERP programs.
•    Proven JD Edwards (JDE) upgrade experience, preferably E1 upgrade projects.
•    Demonstrated ability in team handling, mentoring, and stakeholder management.
•    Experience leading project planning, execution, and governance sessions.
•    Strong understanding of ERP upgrade lifecycles including testing, cutover, and go-live.
Good to Have
•    Experience managing onsite–offshore delivery models.
•    Exposure to risk management, dependency tracking, and mitigation planning in upgrade projects.
•    Familiarity with Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall methodologies used in ERP upgrades.
