Area(s) of responsibility

Senior JDE Finance Consultant responsible for end-to-end Finance module delivery, including solution design, business process optimization, production support, and stakeholder management. Strong focus on GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting, along with system improvements and automation.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Functional Expertise (Core Finance)

Lead and support:

General Ledger (GL)

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Fixed Assets (FA)

Cash Management

Handle period-end and year-end close activities

Manage multi-company, multi-currency, and intercompany accounting

Solution Design & Implementation

Gather business requirements and provide functional solution design

Configure JDE Finance modules as per business needs

Drive process standardization and best practices

Work on financial reporting and compliance requirements

Integration & Automation

Collaborate with technical team for:

Orchestrator-based automation

BSSV / external integrations (banks, third-party systems)

Support interfaces (inbound/outbound financial data)

Production Support & Incident Management

Handle P1/P2 critical finance issues

Ensure smooth month-end close with minimal disruption

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and prevent recurring issues

Reporting & Compliance

 

Work on:

 

Financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance)

Regulatory and audit requirements

Ensure data accuracy and audit readiness

integrations (payments, reconciliation)

Basic SQL knowledge for data validation

 

 

Required Skills

 

Strong expertise in:

GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management

 

Hands-on experience in:

JDE EnterpriseOne 9.x configuration

Financial reporting and period close

 

Good understanding of:

 

JDE finance tables and data flow

Experience in incident management & AMS support model
