Job Title: Lead OCI Architect


Exp – 15 year


•    More than 15 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with last 3-4 years focused on OCI architecture and administration
•    Design and architect OCI-based solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and database services, to support Oracle database workloads.
•    Administer and maintain Oracle databases across development, testing, and production environments on-premise or on OCI, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
•    Optimize database performance through tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting, using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and OCI monitoring services.
•    Manage high-availability setups such as Oracle Data Guard, RAC (Real Application Clusters), and OCI's autonomous database features for disaster recovery and failover.
•    Handle security and compliance tasks, including user management, roles, privileges, encryption, and auditing to meet organizational standards.
•    Lead migrations of on-premises ERP workloads like EBS, PeopleSoft, JDE to OCI, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
•    Manage the migration of diverse on-premises workloads, including custom applications, third-party software, and non-Oracle databases to OCI, by conducting assessments, selecting appropriate migration tools, replicating environments, and optimizing for performance and cost post-migration
•    Monitor database health, resolve incidents, and perform capacity planning to support business growth.
•    Collaborate with developers and architects to integrate databases with applications, automate processes using scripts (e.g., PL/SQL, Shell), and implement CI/CD pipelines.
•    Oracle certifications such as OCP DBA, OCI Architect Associate/Professional are highly desirable
•    Working knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud will be an added advantage
