Title: MES Technical
Role: Lead Developer
Experience Required: 5-8 Years in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) application development & implementations for Manufacturing industry
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement MES applications.
- Integrate MES with other enterprise systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
- Monitor MES system performance and recommend improvements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with internal & offshore teams to ensure MES solutions meet business requirements
Required Skills:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or C# & SQL) and MES platform
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems (DBMS) like MySQL or SQL Server is important for handling the data within the MES
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) involved in web-based interfaces and dashboards.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems will help in understanding the integration and workflow processes
- Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) devices and automation protocols can be crucial, as integration with various hardware and sensors on the shop floor is required
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and practices is beneficial for optimizing processes and reducing waste
- Skills in designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces to ensure that operators can easily follow digital work instructions
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to monitor and improve manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with cloud services and data security
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues that may arise during the implementation and operation of the MES platform
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both local & English to collaborate with various stakeholders.
