About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with 6–8 years of experience in development and support activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Mainframe technologies, including IBM DB2, CICS, and Cobol400, and will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, testing, and documentation.

  2. Experience: 6 to 8 Years
    Location: Pune
  3. Educational Background-A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with a master’s degree preferred

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all project communications, including status reporting, documentation, and tracking of discussion points and action items.
  • Participate in both development and support phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Write, verify, and execute unit test cases, system test cases, integration testing, and UAT.
  • Enhance and maintain existing programs/components.
  • Monitor batch jobs and resolve abends (abnormal ends).
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and regularly updated.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in Mainframe, IBM DB2, CICS, and Cobol400.
  • Proficient in debugging and resolving issues in batch processing.
  • Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
