Title:  Master Data Migration - Technical Lead-Enterprise Apps

Area(s) of responsibility

Data Migration Planning & Strategy

• Lead scoping, sequencing, and execution of master data and transactional data migration across Finance, Procurement, and Sales process areas for a greenfield S/4HANA implementation.
• Define and maintain the Data Migration Strategy document, object inventory, and cutover data migration runbook in alignment with SAP Activate methodology (Prepare → Explore → Realize → Deploy).
• Establish migration object prioritization, mock load schedules, and go/no-go data readiness criteria in coordination with the program cutover manager.
• Identify migration risks, data quality gaps, and remediation owners, track to resolution through mock loads and dress rehearsal.

Technical Extraction, Transformation & Loading

• Design and execute ETL pipelines for master data objects including but not limited to Chart of Accounts, GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, Customer Master (BP), Vendor Master (BP), Material Master, Open AR/AP items, Asset Master, and Purchase Info Records.
• Build and maintain migration templates using SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM) as the primary tool; leverage LSMW for legacy BAPI-based objects where applicable.
• Write extraction programs, transformation scripts, and data cleansing routines in SQL or ABAP as needed to prepare source data for load.
• Execute iterative mock loads, track delta volumes, and manage load sequencing dependencies across objects.

Data Quality & Governance

• Perform data profiling, duplication analysis, and reconciliation against source system counts (Finance, Procurement, Sales).
• Define and enforce data quality rules, acceptance thresholds, and sign-off checklists per object; escalate critical issues to data stewards and workstream leads.
• Maintain data mapping documents and field-level transformation rules from source to S/4HANA target structures.
• Produce migration status dashboards and issue trackers, present load progress and open items to program leadership.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, and Sales functional leads (SI partner scope) to validate business rules embedded in migration templates.
• Collaborate with the SAP Basis and BTP Architecture teams on AL11 staging directories, RFC/SFTP handoff patterns, and integration touchpoints affecting data load sequencing.
• Author and maintain migration runbooks, cutover checklists, and post-go-live HyperCare data correction procedures.
• Provide hands-on support during dress rehearsal and final cutover execution — including weekend and off-hours availability during go-live window.
