Title:  OTM Functional Lead Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Functional Consultant with 11+ years of hands-on experience in transportation management, logistics business processes, and Oracle OTM implementations. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in OTM solution design, requirement gathering, business process optimization, system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver scalable transportation and logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Oracle OTM implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support projects.
• Conduct business requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Configure and implement OTM modules including Order Management, Shipment Planning, Rate Management, Routing, Fleet Management, Tendering, Freight Settlement, and Visibility.
• Design transportation and logistics solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements to optimize supply chain operations.
• Prepare functional design documents (FDDs), configuration documents, test scripts, and user training materials.
• Coordinate with technical teams for integrations with ERP, WMS, EBS, Cloud ERP, and third-party logistics systems.
• Support data migration, system testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployments.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide timely resolution during project and support phases.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership across project teams.
• Collaborate with business users, carriers, logistics providers, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• 11+ years of experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) functional consulting.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, logistics, freight management, and supply chain business processes.
• Expertise in OTM configuration including:
• Order Release Management
• Shipment Planning & Execution
• Rate Management
• Tendering & Carrier Management
• Freight Settlement & Billing
• Visibility and Event Management
• Experience with OTM integrations using XML, web services, and middleware platforms.
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion SCM, Oracle E-Business Suite, WMS, and ERP integrations.
• Strong understanding of transportation optimization and logistics execution processes.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
