Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting OTM solutions, analyzing business requirements, designing OTM processes, and providing expert advice on OTM capabilities. The role involves working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure that the OTM solutions are aligned with business objectives and are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) solutions for clients.
- Analyze business processes and requirements, design solutions, and configure OTM systems accordingly.
- Provide training and support to users on OTM systems and processes.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Global Trade Management: The candidate must have a deep understanding of global trade processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Expertise in Order Management: The candidate should have a strong background in managing and optimizing order management processes and systems.
- Knowledge of Rate Management: The candidate must have experience in managing and optimizing rate structures, including freight rates and tariffs.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- OTM - Financials: Knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management financials would be an added advantage.
- Sourcing: Experience in sourcing and procurement processes would be beneficial.
- Supply Chain Management: Understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Project Management: Ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring timely completion.
- Business Analysis: Skills in analyzing business processes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Customer Service: Ability to manage customer relationships and provide excellent service.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve problems efficiently.
