Lead Consultant – Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)

Role Summary

Lead OTM consultant responsible for end-to-end delivery of Oracle Transportation Management implementations with strong functional and technical ownership, including requirements gathering, solutioning, integrations, reporting, and documentation.

Overall Experience

8–10 years of total experience in Oracle Transportation Management

Implementation Experience

Minimum 4–5 full lifecycle (end-to-end) OTM implementations (Requirement → Design → Build → Test → Go‑Live → Support)

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end OTM implementations and global rollouts
• Act as functional & technical SME for OTM
• Drive solution design and architecture decisions
• Participate in go-live and post‑go‑live support

Requirements Gathering

• Conduct business workshops with stakeholders
• Gather and analyze transportation business requirements
• Translate business needs into functional & technical solutions

Functional Expertise (OTM)

• Order Management
• Shipment Planning & Optimization
• Shipment Execution & Visibility
• Rate & Contract Management
• Carrier Tendering
• Freight Settlement, Billing & Claims

Technical Expertise (OTM)

• OTM configurations
• Agents, Automation Agents, Rules & Actions
• XML profiles, XSL, and workflow automation
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting

Integrations (Mandatory)

• OTM integrations with ERP / external systems
• REST / SOAP Web Services
• XML-based inbound & outbound interfaces
• Middleware exposure (OIC, SOA/OSB, MuleSoft – preferred)
