Job Description
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 7+ years in enterprise or manufacturing-software development, including strong recent hands-on work with Siemens Opcenter Execution Discrete implementations or extensions.
• Strong C#/.NET and Microsoft Visual Studio skills, including object-oriented design, service development, debugging, and production-quality coding.
• Hands-on knowledge of Opcenter architecture, domain modeling, extension mechanisms, transaction behavior, and deployment/configuration management.
• Strong SQL skills with SQL Server or Oracle, including schema understanding, stored procedures, query optimization, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
• Experience with APIs and integration technologies such as REST/OData, SOAP, JSON, XML, authentication/authorization, and message-oriented integration.
• Working experience with modern web technologies. React is required for this program; HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and prior AngularJS exposure are advantageous for migration work.
• Practical understanding of discrete-manufacturing execution, including work-order lifecycle, routing/operations, WIP, material consumption, serial/lot traceability, genealogy, quality, nonconformance, rework, resources, and equipment.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD, defect management, code review, and release governance, preferably using Azure DevOps.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with distributed technical teams and customer stakeholders, and willingness to travel to Denmark and plant locations as required.
