Job Title –Opcenter Discrete Tester 
1.    Location: Any BSL
2.    Educational Background – Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
3.    Key Responsibilities – The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Siemens Opcenter Execution Process, Process Flow configurations, and end-to-end testing methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for validating MES functionality, ensuring solution quality, and supporting successful deployment of Siemens Opcenter solutions in manufacturing environments.
4.    Skills Required – Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and MES process workflows. 
Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Siemens Opcenter implementations. 
Validate Siemens Opcenter process flows, workflows, production processes, material tracking, and manufacturing execution functionalities. 
Perform Functional Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). 
Verify integrations between Opcenter and enterprise systems such as SAP ERP, SCADA, PLCs, Historians, and other manufacturing applications. 
Identify, document, track, and manage defects using standard defect management tools. 
Collaborate with business users, solution architects, developers, and deployment teams to resolve issues and improve solution quality. 
Support testing during upgrades, enhancements, and new feature implementations. 
Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality assurance recommendations. 
Prepare test reports, defect summaries, and quality metrics for project stakeholders.
5.    Additional Requirements –The Auto , Manual function testing  and maintains the functionality used directly by plant operators. tester will work primarily functionality developed in Microsoft C# and REACT, Mandix , SQL and will support the testing of build functionality on the UI layer, database Integration layer while collaborating closely with other Testing team.
Preferred Qualifications 
•    Experience working with SQL databases and validation of backend data. 
•    Understanding of MES integrations with ERP systems (SAP preferred). 
•    Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as SCADA, PLCs, OPC, and industrial automation environments. 
•    Exposure to test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or ALM.
