Title:  Oracle EBS WMS Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Warehouse Management System (WMS) Techno-Functional Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of WMS, Inventory, and Supply Chain processes, along with good technical skills for RICE components, troubleshooting, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and design WMS solutions in Oracle EBS R12.
  • Configure and support Oracle WMS, Inventory (INV), and related SCM modules.
  • Analyze, design, and implement functionalities such as:
    • LPN Management
    • Directed Picking & Putaway
    • Task Management
    • Material Movements
    • Rules Engine (Strategy/Rule Sets)
    • Shipment, Receiving & Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA)
  • Develop and support RICE components—Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions (techno-functional role).
  • Work on PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and BI Publisher for minor technical enhancements.
  • Support barcode integrations, label printing, handheld/mobile solutions, and RF device configurations.
  • Perform testing (SIT/UAT), create documentation, and train users on WMS processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional modules like OM, PO, INV, Shipping, and Costing.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for development, deployments, and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS R12 WMS as techno-functional consultant.
  • Strong hands-on experience in WMS setups, rules, strategies, tasks, LPNs, and MSCA.
  • Good functional knowledge of Inventory, Order Management, and Purchasing flows.
  • Ability to prepare functional documents (MD050) and review technical documents (MD070).
  • Strong technical proficiency in:
    • SQL / PL/SQL
    • Oracle Forms/Reports (good to have)
    • BI Publisher
    • Interfaces and data conversions
  • Experience supporting production environments and resolving WMS-related issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
