Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Automation Architect with expertise in Selenium and Playwright. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing strategies and frameworks, ensuring the highest quality of our software products. The role involves collaborating with the software development team to identify and prioritize software defects, developing automation scripts, and maintaining and improving our existing automation frameworks. The Test Automation Architect will play a crucial role in driving our software development process towards agility and speed without compromising quality.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand the application for effective test automation.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to the testing team in test automation.
  • Continuously improve test automation strategies and processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Playwright for creating automated tests.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Selenium for test automation.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications would be considered an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other automation tools like Appium, TestComplete, or QTP.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with database testing and SQL.
