Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MERN Stack Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade web applications that enable data ingestion monitoring, regulatory workflows, and analytics consumption on a Snowflake-based data platform. The role will focus on building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications integrated with cloud data services and BI platforms in a regulated Life Sciences environment.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Architecture
•    Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and Business Analyst to understand functional and non- functional requirements.
•    Translate business requirements and user stories into high level application architecture and technical design.
•    Define component-level design, integration patterns and data flow for frontend and backend and data services.
•    Design, develop, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
•    Build reusable UI components and responsive user interfaces for data monitoring, dashboards, and regulatory workflows.
•    Develop secure and scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
•    End-to-end product experience and worked on full lifecycle of Product with API first approach.
•    Independently lead both the design and development of a product with minimal oversight.
Data Platform & Integration
•    Consume and expose data via REST APIs, JDBC/ODBC services, or middleware layers.
•    Support metadata-driven views, data quality dashboards, and ingestion monitoring interfaces.
•    Strong backend expertise with a good working experience of UI is preferred, and working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Security, Performance & Reliability
•    Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls aligned to enterprise security standards.
•    Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability.
•    Ensure secure handling of sensitive regulatory and compliance data.
Agile Delivery & Collaboration
•    Translate functional requirements and user stories into technical solutions in collaboration with BAs and product owners.
•    Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
•    Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support CI/CD pipelines.
Production Support & Continuous Improvement
•    Provide L2/L3 application support including incident resolution and root cause analysis.
•    Troubleshoot production issues across UI, API, and integration layers.
•    Drive continuous improvements in code quality, security, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
•    6-8 years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development.
•    Strong expertise in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
•    Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with enterprise data platforms.
•    Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
•    Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Git.
•    Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
